In 2023 The Fairmount Water Works participated in the United Nations of Rivers Walk by inviting people of all ages to walk downstream along the Schuylkill River Trail. The River Walk is part of a global program to record voices throughout the world to celebrate World Water Day.

GreenTreks was there to document the event in order to create a shared documentation of stories from different parts of the world to be presented and discussed during the UN Water Conference. We also created a video to be shown at a new exhibit in the Netherlands.
