The TTF was formed to improve the health and vitality of its watershed, and it realized early on that this would only happen if community members came back to the creek.

As creek restoration, streambank reforestation, and trail building efforts began, the TTF team reached out to GreenTreks to document and share the positive changes. We created a series of personal stories of the individuals who volunteered to make the long neglected Tacony Creek Park a more beautiful, peaceful, welcoming place. Sharing these stories through social media have helped local residents realize that a vibrant community asset lies just a short walk away.
